‘Night Curfew In Entire Punjab Till April 30’: What’s Shut & Open

<p>Amid rising cases of Coronavirus in the state, Punjab Government has resorted to strict measures and decided to impose night curfew across the entire State till month end. As per the announcement, night curfew will be in place from 9 PM - 5 AM across Punjab till April 30.</p> <p>In an effort to control the spread of the deadly COVID-19, Chief Minister Amarinder Singh-led Congress government has also put a ban on political gatherings in Punjab. According to the bulletin, the active cases of coronavirus rose to 25,913 while 2,350 patients recuperated, taking the number of recoveries to 2.24 lakh.&nbsp;</p> <p>The central government on Tuesday said that the intensity of the coronavirus pandemic has increased in India. This has been confirmed by genome sequencing. "The increase in cases is event-driven like large weddings, local body elections, farmer protest, etc could have a role in it," minister added.&nbsp;</p>
