Maharashtra: Despite Warning And Surging Covid Cases; Huge Crowd Could Be Seen Flouting Norms In Nagpur

<p><strong>Nagpur:&nbsp;</strong>On Sunday, people could be seen flouting social distancing norms and mask protocols despite warnings from the state authorities. People were seen in huge numbers flout social distancing norms at Sitabuldi main road in Nagpur going about their business. Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray warned the citizens to strictly adhere to the Covid-19 preventive measures in order to avoid the imposition of complete lockdown in the state.&nbsp;</p> <p>"Those who want lockdown can roam around without mask while those who don't want it must wear mask and follow all the rules," CM Thackeray said.</p> <p>Starting Monday, CM Thackrey announced that all political, religious, social processions, rallies, agitations, crowds and large processions will be banned for a few more days.&nbsp;</p> <p>In order to curb the virus, the Pune administration has announced to enforce certain restrictions in the district including night curfew for the people indulged in non-essential services. The crowd will not be allowed to come out of homes between 11 pm and 6 am however, people will be allowed to travel for the essential services.
