Unnao Case: Two Accused Including Minor Arrested; Girls Cremated Amid Tight Security

<p>The Uttar Pradesh Police on Friday held two people inlcuding a minor in connection with the death of two teenage girls earlier this week at an Unnao village. Lucknow Range IG Laxmi Singh reportedly said that the matter is a fallout of a one-side love affair. The accused was upset because the girl refused to marry him and or even share her phone number.</p> <p>The boy allegedly decided to poison by giving some pesticide with water to the three girls as a result of which, two succumbed while the third victim is stuggling for life in a hospital.&nbsp;</p> <p>The three minor girls were found outside Baburaha village of Asoha area of ​​Unnao district of Uttar Pradesh. Two of them were declared dead on arrival at the hospital while the third one was referred to district hospital for treatment.</p> <p>Even as the post-mortem revealed no injury marks, the UP Police registered a case of murder and filed an FIR in connection with the deaths of two teenage Dalit girls.&nbsp;The police have slapped Section 302 (murder) of the IPC and Section 201 against the accused.&nbsp;</p> <p>Earlier in the day, the last rites of the two teenage girls were performed amid tight security arrangements.&nbsp;</p> <p>Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has taken serious cognisance of the incident and asked for a detailed report from the director-general of police (DGP).
