Greta Thunberg Toolkit Controversy: 21 Yr Old ‘Friday for Future Activist Disha Ravi Arrested From Bengaluru

<p><strong>New Delhi:&nbsp;</strong>Disha Ravi, a 21 year old climate activist and a founders "Friday for Future" campaign was arrested by the Delhi Police in Bengaluru in connection to the Greta Thunberg "toolkit" case. On February 4th 2021, the Delhi registered a case against the "toolkit" which was tweeted by Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg. The case for was filed under Sections 124 A (sedition), 153A (creating hatred among various groups on religious grounds etc.), 153 and 120 B of IPC. Earlier, Delhi Police Special Commissioner Praveer Ranjan told that no person were named in the FIR and that the climate activist Greta Thunberg was also not named. He added that investigation is underway on the tweets and toolkits.</p> <p>According to media reports, during the investigations, the Delhi Police had asked Google and social media officials to help with information regarding the toolkit by providing email ids, URLs and social media accounts related to the creators of "toolkit". The toolkit was uploaded through Google docs and then uploaded on Twitter.&nbsp;</p> <p>Officials say, Disha Ravi is a link in the case.
